Novena for the Coming of the Holy Spirit: Third Day
You of all consolers best,
Of the soul most kindly Guest,
Quick’ning courage do bestow.
O Divine Consoler, and of all Comforters the best, to You do I come in trouble and distress. May You, in the all-powerful Name of Jesus, our Redeemer, and out of love for Mary, our sorrowful Mother and Your chaste Spouse, come to my assistance and comfort me in all my trials and tribulations. Amen.

Our Lady of the Third Millennium, the one holy catholic and apostolic Church, has been plunged into the sacred blaze of her Jesus’ heart. Hence, the gates of hell are in for an enormous surprise. We are in the upper room, because we, too, are not of the world, and Psalm 23 rushes to mind.

Cathy and Carol, it’s funny, isn’t it, how at various points on our spiritual journey we remember, for example, a particularly important Advent, Christmas, Lent, or Holy Week or Easter Triduum – I’m sure you know what I mean – in our awakening or in our union. I must say, though, this is the first time I have actually felt a strong union with Mary and the Apostles in the upper room, and the first time I have been truly awaiting the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
