Coffee Break 2

I’ve been reflecting on what a gift I’ve received. Knowing people such as yourselves, who will speak their minds whether in agreement or disagreement, offer different perspectives, correct, encourage and help bring me Clarity is a wondrous thing.
And don’t those croissants look good.
And yes, the croissants look scrumptious; perhaps it was these which reminded me of A Eucharistic Journey.
Ms. Impaler, thanks for that link! I had completely forgotten about Sr. Noreen – I must listen this weekend as I do the ironing – my favourite time to listen to the EWTN audio library!
“Clarity” IS a wonderous (mysterious, amazing, profound) thing!
And….I do love so many of the old movie classics….watched Jimmy Stewart the other nite in “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington”…. and did you ever see “Meet John Doe” with Gary Cooper? I have a very long list. Just the other day, I recommended “Twelve Angry Men” to someone, who was telling me about their experience serving on a jury. Another great old “classic”.
BTW, yesterday I took my mother (who is still here, visiting from Florida), to the Ava Gardner Museum in Smithfield, NC. It was enjoyable, as well as insightful. Seems that Ava never really “enjoyed” the fame, but often preferred “anonimity” wherever she could find it for a brief period. I think she had a beautiful spirit to go along with such a beautiful face. (And thank you for the prayers, during my mom’s visit.)
What about fresh-baked banana bread with your morning coffee?
D’oh, it’s ’cause you’re not old enough for all these movies, G.
Am offline this week, for the most part. Will return soon.
Actually, I’ve been watching the oldies since I was a youngster…how many decades ago?
When you come back, I’ll be almost gone
Hope you have a productive week though. Said prayers for the b-boy today.
I’m back.. but it’s been such a hellish week, I actually forgot that I have a Feed from numerous sites. How silly. Will be catching up on all this.
I hope all is well with everyone here..
As a former friend often said, “It’s nothing a holy death won’t cure.” (Still, I’d like to try butter, and whiskey, first..)
Be blessed!
